The Employment Equality Regulations make it unlawful to discriminate in employment and vocational training on grounds of race, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender, and age. This course provides practical guidance on implementing the Regulations to managers and individual employees.

- General principles, such as explanations of unacceptable behaviour constituting direct and indirect discrimination, including bullying and harassment;
- The 2003 Employment Regulations related to the equality strands of race, disability, sexual orientation and religion or belief;
- The legal penalties for breaching the Regulations;
- How to challenge unacceptable workplace behaviour in an effective and constructive manner; and
- What to do if you are the subject of an allegation of discrimination.
