Staff survey option

Employers can also opt to include a staff survey as part of the course. The survey asks participants for personal information, such as ethnicity, gender and disability. This is a great asset to many employers, who use the aggregate data to see where they need to improve the diversity of their workforce. Sensitive personal information is encrypted on entry.

The staff survey option includes limited customisation as standard. Extensive customisation may involve a nominal fee.

Accessibility features

Our online learning courses are designed to be fully accessible to people with different learning styles and access requirements. Each course is:

Participants with access needs can also choose to allocate themselves extra time to complete a course.

Course structure

Each online course presents participants with short sets of information. Scenarios are used to illustrate both everyday and complex situations, and how equality law is applied. Questions are interspersed throughout each course, and these are designed to test and reinforce learning. At the end of each course, participants are told their score and can request a certificate.

Most of our online courses take around two hours to complete. The course time available can be greater, and many employers ask us to set the course time at four hours to allow for any interruptions.

So they can increase their knowledge and their score, and at no extra cost, each participant may be given up to three opportunities to take each course. Resuming a saved course does not count towards this limit.
